The modifiers can be used to write special characters in your language. For example, in Polish, you could write z/ for ź, and z// for ż. Or in Hungarian, o/ could be ó, o// could be ö and o/// could be ő.
Every character consists of two boxes, which are on top of each other:
Every character has a code:
The numbers stand for the amount of line segments per box. An apostrophe means a dot underneath the character.
A horizontal or vertical line counts for 2 line segments, while a diagonal line counts for 1:
A line which is on the border between two boxes counts for both.
Thus, an a (5,3) can look like this:
Because boxes can share lines with each other, the configurations can get very efficient:
